Who is this event for?
Developers, architects, students, DevOps and data folks at any level. If you build on AWS, or want to, you belong here.
When exactly is it?
April 2027 at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. The exact day will be announced here and on our socials as soon as it is confirmed.
How much are tickets?
Ticket details are not final yet. Our goal is to keep the day free or very low cost thanks to our sponsors, with a student option.
Can I speak at the event?
Yes. The call for speakers runs on Sessionize. Talks are reviewed blind, and first-time speakers are encouraged to apply for a lightning slot. We pair first-timers with a mentor before the day.
Is the event in English or Arabic?
Both. Speakers choose the language they are most comfortable in. Slides are in English.
Is there a code of conduct?
Yes, and it applies to everyone on site and online, including sponsors and organizers. Read it before you register.
Is AWS running this?
No. AWS Community Days are planned, sourced and delivered by community leaders. AWS supports the program, but the content and the organization are independent.
